Her commitment to uplifting women in the sport is unwavering.
Margo’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and empowerment, and she continues to inspire others with her dedication and passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Welcome Tara!
Tara’s competitive spirit has driven her from the start, as she’s been actively competing since her early days as a white belt. Since beginning her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2022, she has already claimed 18 medals, including a podium finish at the IBJJF Europeans earlier this year.
Tara is about to embark on a six-month adventure, attending training camps in Thailand and Brazil to prepare for major tournaments in 2024-2025. Her vision perfectly aligns with WTF’s mission to empower women in martial arts. Tara is passionate about showing women that you can be both feminine and fierce on the mats, proving that strength and grace can go hand in hand.
She aims to inspire women to embrace their full potential in BJJ, promoting the idea that they can excel as fighters while staying true to who they are. Tara’s goal is to elevate women’s BJJ and the wider martial arts community, demonstrating that women can be both badasses and unapologetically feminine.
"I’m thrilled to be joining Women That Fight, a brand that embodies my personal values and dreams for BJJ. Flowers and pink on our kit, for the win!"
Welcome Courtney!
Courtney started her BJJ Journey 7 years ago after training Muay Thai from a young age with her father. Courtney has proven herself in her dedication for females within combat sports and continues to be an amazing role model and trainer for women in and out of her gym. Courtney has excelled within her fighting carrier so far including being offered a place on the Abu Dhabi National BJJ Team. From winning the UAE National Championship title to securing the Absolute title and 2nd place at the UK ADCC Championship this year. With victories at submission-only shows like Gorilla Invitational, Chaos Ireland, and Clash Submission Only, her achievements reflect her dedication.
Beyond competition, Courtney has positively influenced the female community by addressing stigmas around gynecological health. During her time in the UAE, she encouraged women to openly discuss menstrual complications and prioritize regular check-ups, especially as athletes. This mission is personal to her, having overcome challenges herself. Courtney is passionate about teaching BJJ and inspiring women to break barriers, both on and off the mats.
